COUNTRY MEAT LOAF | |
1 sm. can tomato juice 3/4 c. uncooked oats 1 egg or egg white 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/2 tsp. salt if desired 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 chopped bell pepper (optional) 1 1/2 lb. lean ground chuck Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients except ground beef; mix well. Add ground beef mix lightly but thoroughly. Press into 8x4-inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hour. Drain; let stand 5 minutes. Makes 8 servings. |
