RAISIN BREAD PUDDING | |
1 (1 lb.) loaf raisin bread, diced 4 eggs 1/2 c. sugar 1 qt. milk 2 tsp. vanilla 1/4 c. butter 2 tsp. cinnamon 3/4 c. chopped nuts Place bread cubes in greased 3 quart casserole dish or 13x9 pan. Beat eggs; add sugar, milk, vanilla and cinnamon; beat again. Add nuts and pour over bread. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes until puffed, brown and firm to the touch in the center. Serve hot, warm or cold. Good with sliced peaches and whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. |
