CHOCOLATE RUM BALLS | |
1 c. evaporated milk 1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips 1/2 c. powdered sugar 1 box crushed vanilla wafers 1 1/2 c. ground nuts 1/3 c. rum or brandy Cook evaporated milk and chips over medium heat until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Take off heat, add sugar, 1/2 cup nuts, vanilla wafer crumbs and rum. Let stand at room temperature until mixture can be rolled into 1 inch balls, then roll in remaining 1 cup nuts. Refrigerate until balls are firm, store in airtight container in refrigerator. Improve with time. |
