3 egg yolks
1/2 c. sugar
2 lemons (juice and rind)
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. nuts, chopped fine
mayonnaise
bread

In saucepan, combine egg yolks, sugar and lemon juice with rind. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Remove from heat. Add cream cheese and beat until smooth. Stir in nuts. Spread mayonnaise on bread slices. Top bread with lemon mixture. Slice into pretty little sandwiches. Good finger food.
