MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
1 1/2 c. self-rising cornbread mix
1 can cream style corn
1 c. grated mild cheddar cheese
1 1/2 c. finely chopped onions
3 eggs
1/2 c. oil, heated
1/2 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients well. Bake in oven at 400 degrees until brown.
