SCONES 
3 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 sticks butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. currants
1/2 c. plain yogurt

Grease a baking sheet. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and cream of tartar. Combine butter, eggs, milk and yogurt. Make a well in the dry ingredients and add egg mixture. Stir until free of lumps. Make into small round cakes with hands, place on baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
