RHUBARB CAKE 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. shortening

Sift dry ingredients. Add shortening as for pie crust. Put 1 cup aside for topping. Add 2 eggs, 1/2 cup milk and 2 cups rhubarb to the remaining mixture. Put in a 9x13 pan, greased and floured. Add 1/2 cup brown sugar to the 1 cup reserved mixture. Sprinkle on top of batter. Bake t 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
