PICKLED EGGS 
1 1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
6 cloves
1 bay leaf
Onions - lots
Eggs - boiled and peeled

Boil vinegar, water, sugar and salt. Then simmer 15 to 18 minutes. Add cloves and bay leaf. Pack a large glass jar with eggs and slice onions. Pour vinegar mixture over eggs. Cover tightly and put in refrigerator for at least 1 week.
