HOLIDAY ORANGE ROLLS 
1/2 c. warm water
2 pkgs. yeast

Following ingredients at room temperature:

1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c Crisco
2 eggs
7 1/2 c. flour, sifted
1 stick melted butter
Grating from 3 thick skin oranges
1 c. sugar
Grating from 1 thick skin orange
1/2 c. fresh orange juice
1 c. confectionery sugar

1. Mix together 1/2 cup warm water and yeast. Set it aside.

2. Mix together 1 1/2 cups milk, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup Crisco and 2 eggs.

3. Add yeast mixture.

4. Add flour, approximately 1 cup at a time and mix until ball is formed.

5. Knead for 10 minutes until smooth and place in well greased bowl, cover and let rise 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

6. Mix grating from 3 oranges with 1 cup sugar.

7. Mix grating from 1 orange with 1/2 cup orange juice and 1 cup confectioners' sugar.

8. Divide the dough and roll out on floured surface into rectangle.

9. Brush rectangle with butter and spread 1/2 of orange grating and sugar mix on each rectangle.

10. Roll rectangle along long edge and seal.

11. Cut roll into 1/2" slices and place in greased muffin pan.

12. Cover and let raise 2 hours.

13. Bake for 10 minutes at 425 degrees.

14. Remove from pan and place on rack to cool.

15. While still warm brush/spoon orange juice, sugar, confectioners' sugar mix on top of rolls.
