CRUNCHY SOUP STICKS | |
1 pkg. dry yeast 1/2 c. warm milk 1 tbsp. sugar 1 egg 2 2/3 c. Jiffy baking mix 2 eggs, slightly beaten 2 tbsp. melted butter 1 tsp. Jiffy baking mix 2 (3 oz.) cans French fried onion rings, crushed Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water and add milk, sugar, egg, and baking mix. Stir until well mixed and turn onto floured board and knead about 30 times. Roll dough in rectangle about 6 x 24 inch. Cut into 32 strips. Combine eggs, butter, and baking mix. Dip each strip into this mixture. Roll in crushed onion rings and bake on ungreased cookie sheet 8 to 10 minutes at 375 degrees. |
