FROSTED BROWNIES | |
BROWNIES: 1/2 c. butter 1 c. sugar 4 eggs (or equivalent egg substitute) 1 (16 oz.) can Hershey's chocolate syrup 1 c. chopped nuts 1 c. plus 1 tsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla FROSTING: 1 1/2 c. sugar 6 tbsp. milk 6 tbsp. butter 1 c. chocolate chips Cream the butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Sift flour and salt. Add syrup, nuts, salt and vanilla. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. For frosting, bring first 3 ingredients to boil for just 30 seconds. Add chocolate chips and stir until chips are melted, then spread over brownies. |
