Very good! I used 1/4 cup Italian Crumbs and 1/4 cup flour. I also added some black pepper, paprika, and Lawry's Seasoned Salt and they came out delicious! I'm not usually a fan of canned salmon but these were very good. Oh, and I only used 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and fried them in olive oil (I like the taste MUCH better than vegetable oil).

I've been looking for a recipe for salmon patties for quite some time. I enjoyed using this one. I found so many recipes using crackers and/or bread crumbs, which I didn't want to use. I was worried this was going to taste doughy but it wasn't at all. My family really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome recipe! Only change I made is I coat the patties in breadcrumbs before frying. Delicious!

OMG! I was scared to death to open the can much less try the recipe because of some things I read online, but you know what? Ureka! Success and delicious! Thank you so much for this recipe. I admit to being worried when that baking powder and the fish juice mixed, but how tasty and brown and perfect?! Thank you!

These were awesome.. I added 2 tsp. of green curry paste and 3 tbsp. of fresh chopped coriander and a dash of sweet chilli sauce. This made a Thai flavoured patty. Delicious as. You don't need to chill before cooking as you do when adding potato rather than flour. They were crispy and held their shape. Totally awesome. They would make a delicious finger food too, make them smaller.

This has become a favorite recipe. I often use Mackerel instead of Salmon but it's still the same. I make four patties and they just fit my fryer basket so I deep fry them.

You must chop up some red bell peppers and add fresh parsley. After they are fried, squeeze a fresh lime over the patties. Now you have the finished recipe.

I made this recipe with a bit of a spin, using Parmesan cheese, Panko and frying it Italian dressing... Yummmmmmmm!

I recognize this as an old recipe on Crisco shortening can. It's the best, but I think now I'll use spray oil and bake them rather than frying them in all that oil/shortening.

Salmon patties were really good. Try adding 1 box of jiffy mix, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1/2 cup of season blend garlic and lemon pepper.

This is my favorite recipe for Salmon Patties. I lost my copy and have been making it from memory. I am so glad to find it on line. I sometimes add lemon juice to the mixture. I have added leftover mashed potatoes at times - it makes the recipe go further and tones down the strong salmon taste for one of my friends.
