CHOCOLATE DELIGHT CAKE 
2 sticks soft butter
4 oz. pkg. German chocolate
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 (1 lb.) boxes powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. warm water

In a large bowl, combine butter, cream cheese, and sugar. In saucepan, combine water and chocolate and cook over medium heat, stirring until chocolate is melted and blended with water. Pour chocolate mixture into cream cheese mixture. Add vanilla and mix until light and fluffy. Take out 3 cups to use as frosting. Cover frosting portion until ready to use. 3 eggs 2 1/4 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 c. buttermilk

Add butter to remaining cheese mixture and cream together. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Sift together flour, soda, and salt; and add to creamed mixture, alternately with buttermilk. Blend well and pour into 3 greased and floured 9 inch layer pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Turn out, cool, and frost with reserved portion.
