PECAN TASSIES 
2 sticks butter
2 c. sifted flour
2 pkgs. (3 oz.) cream cheese

Cream together butter with creamed cheese and add sifted flour in 4 parts. Make into 48 balls and put into very small cupcake tins, pressing to make into tart cup to hold filling. Shape crust into tins with fingers.

FILLING:

2 eggs
Dash of salt
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. light brown sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. nuts, chopped

Beat eggs and add sugar a little at a time; add salt, melted butter, vanilla and nuts. Sprinkle a little chopped nuts on the bottom of each cup. Put a teaspoon of filling in each cup and sprinkle a few nuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool and remove carefully.
