FRUIT SALAD 
1 can (20 oz.) crushed unsweetened pineapple or fruit cocktail
1 sm. pkg. lime or other fruit gelatin (if diabetic use sugar free gelatin)
2 pkgs. (3 oz. each) light cream cheese
1/3 c. chopped pecans
2 c. lite Cool Whip
1 tsp. lemon juice (when using pineapple and lemon gelatin)

Drain fruit, reserving juice. In a saucepan, cook 1 cup reserved juice until hot. Stir in gelatin. Mix well. Beat cream cheese into warm mixture. Fold in fruit. Chill in refrigerator until syrupy, about 45 minutes. Fold in pecans, Cool Whip and lemon juice (if using pineapple).
