SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
5 lbs. ground beef
3 lbs. ground pork
2 lbs. ground veal
3 c. finely chopped onions
2 c. fine bread crumbs
5 eggs
2 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. pepper
2 c. milk
3/4 c. grated carrot
8 c. mushroom sauce

Grind meat 3 times. Mix meat well, add the onions then the crumbs. Mix thoroughly. Beat the eggs slightly and work into the meat with the salt and pepper. Add the milk and grated carrot. (Add more milk if needed.) Shape into 1 inch balls. Brown them in a skillet (you will need little or not fat since the pork contains some).
