1 apple 4 pork chops, about 1/2 inch thick 2 c. hot water 2 tbsp. instant chicken bouillon 1 tbsp. minced onion 1 c. long grain rice 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1/4 tsp. cinnamon Wash, core and slice the apple - DO NOT peel. Trim the extra fat from the pork. Pour the hot water into a 9 x 9 inch baking pan. Stir in the bouillon and minced onion, stirring until the bouillon is dissolved. Stir in the rice and apple slices. Place the pork chops on top of the rice mixture. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. (Most of the liquid should be absorbed.) In a small bowl mix brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the pork chops. Bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes uncovered. |
