CHOCOLATE COVERED CHERRIES 
1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
2 lbs. powdered sugar
1 1/2 sq. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, add powdered sugar (slowly and carefully), add milk and vanilla. Mix well, cover with plastic wrap and CHILL WELL. Drain maraschino cherries (4 to 5 jars) at least overnight.

Take out a very small amount of powdered sugar-milk mixture at a time. Press out a small ball in hand and put a drained maraschino cherry in it. Place on waxed paper and CHILL WELL.

1 (8 oz.) Hershey milk chocolate bar
8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/4 lb. paraffin wax

Dip covered cherries in melted chocolate. Store in covered containers in refrigerator. These are best if made 2 to 3 weeks before using.
