CHILI RICE
3/4 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped fine
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/2 c. frozen corn
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
Rice
Grated cheese, sharp Cheddar or Monterey Jack

Brown beef and onion, drain. Add spices, corn, green pepper, tomato sauce and water. Cover and bring to a boil, then simmer for 1/2 hour. Add a little water if you need to.

In the meantime (actually you should start the rice before the chili because it takes a while to cook) I use UNCLE BEN'S® and make the recipe for 1 cup raw rice.

You mix the rice into the chili and serve with grated cheese on top. This is a good recipe if you have teenage sons.
