ORANGE BISCUITS WITH HONEY
BUTTER
 
2 tbsp. shortening
2 c. pancake mix
1/4 c. orange juice
2 tsp. grated orange rind
1/3 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. honey

Cut shortening into pancake mix in bowl until crumbly. Add 1/4 cup water, orange juice and orange rind; stir until just moistened. Knead on floured surface. Roll 1/2 inch thick. Cut with 2 1/2 inch cutter. Place on cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Combine butter and honey in small bowl; beat until light and fluffy. Serve on hot biscuits. Yields 8 servings.
