CHUCK STEAK PIZZIOLA | |
2 to 2 1/2 lbs. chuck steak fillet 3 tbsp. oil 1 lg. onion, diced 1 can (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 to 1 1/2 tsp. oregano 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. sugar Brown steak in oil in large frying pan on both sides. Remove meat and set aside. Saute onion in same pan until golden. Add both cans of tomatoes, oregano, salt and sugar. Simmer sauce uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes. Add meat to sauce and cover. Simmer 45 minutes covered on low flame. Serve with spaghetti. |
