CHOCOLATE ALMOND PIE 
3 eggs
1 c. Karo dark corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. sliced almonds
1 unbaked 9" pie shell

In medium bowl beat eggs slightly. Beat in next 5 ingredients. Stir in chocolate and almonds. Pour into pie shell. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean. Cool. Serves 8. For variety substitute 1/2 cup peanuts or pecans for the almonds.
