REFRIGERATOR ROLLS OR BREAD 
1 tsp. sugar
2 cakes quick acting yeast
2 tbsp. shortening or butter, melted
6 1/2-7 c. sifted flour
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. lukewarm water
2 eggs
2 c. lukewarm water

Add 1 teaspoon sugar to yeast and 1/4 cup water. Stir until liquified. Mix 2 cups water, sugar, salt and shortening. Add eggs and 4 cups flour and beat thoroughly. Stir in rest of flour (more may be needed if dough is sticky). Mix well, but do not knead. Grease top of dough a tiny bit and cover. Place in refrigerator until ready to use. This makes about 3 loaves of bread or 3 dozen dinner rolls. Bake rolls at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
