MAE'S RHUBARB BREAD 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. salad oil
1 egg
1 c. sour milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. diced fresh rhubarb

Mix in order, fold in rhubarb and nuts. Pour batter into greased and floured loaf pans. Sprinkle the following over the loaves: 1 tbsp. butter

Mix together. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.
