SHREDDED WHEAT PUDDING 
2 shredded wheat squares (crumbled)
3 heaping tsp. cocoa
1/2 c. sugar
A pinch of salt
1 pt. of milk (2 c.)
1 tbsp. butter

Cook over double boiler until thick.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter

Melt above together, cool, add 1 egg yolk. Beat egg white with fork until frothy, add to above ingredients. Add vanilla. Serve warm; sauce and pudding. Recipe over 100 years old.
