SHREDDED WHEAT BREAD | |
4 c. boiling water 4 lg. Shredded Wheat biscuits 2/3 c. white sugar 3 tsp. salt 2/3 c. molasses 1/2 c. shortening 2 pkg. yeast 10-12 c. white flour Mix first 6 ingredients together and let cool. Prepare yeast and add. Gradually work in all of the flour. Let rise only ones and shape into loaves. Makes 4 large loaves. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, then at 375 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. |
