STUFFED SHREDDED WHEAT 
1 box shredded wheat, 9 squares to a box
1 qt. milk
Butter

Soak shredded wheat in cold milk until softened. Make center opening from end to end of each shredded wheat and fill. Brush baking pan with butter and place shredded wheat side by side in pan. Brush top with butter. Bake in slow oven 250 degrees until golden brown. Remove from oven and cool. Pour syrup over all.

FILLING:

2 c. English walnuts
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. rose water or lemon flavor

Combine all ingredients and fill biscuits.

SYRUP:

1 c. water
1 c. sugar
Juice of 1 lemon

Boil all ingredients. Cool and pour over shredded wheat.

(This is simply delicious).
