1 c. butter, softened 1/3 c. sifted powdered sugar 1/2 c. cornstarch LEMON FROSTING: 1/4 c. butter, softened 1 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tbsp. grated lemon rind Cream butter and sugar. Add flour and cornstarch. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cookies will not be brown on top. Cool completely, then frost. |
