CHOCOLATE BANANA BREAD 
1/3 c. raisins
3 tbsp. rum
1 1/2 c. all - purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. mashed banana
1/4 c. butter, melted and cooled to room temperature
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 of 6 oz. pkg. (1/2 c.) Nestle Toll House semi - sweet chocolate morsels
1/4 c. chopped walnuts

In small bowl, combine raisins and rum. Let stand 15 minutes; drain and reserve liquid. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. In large bowl, combine sugar, banana, butter, egg and milk; beat well. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in raisins, Nestle Toll House semi - sweet chocolate morsels and nuts. Spread into greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Poke holes in top of bread with toothpick. Brush with reserved liquid. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely on wire rack.
