BAVARIAN GOULASH | |
1 pound veal 1 pound lean pork 1 pound lean beef 3 pounds onions 1/2 stick butter few small slivers of carrot 3 cloves garlic salt and pepper to taste 3 tablespoons paprika 1 slice lemon 1 beef bouillon cube water gravy thickening 1 1/2 cups flour 2 eggs 1/2 cup milk 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 tsp salt Mix all dry ingredients and add wet ingredients; beat well. Place in potato ricer and press through into boiling salted water. Cook for about 5 minutes or until they rise to the surface. Drain and drizzle with butter. Sauté 1/2 cup bread crumbs in butter until brown and sprinkle over top of warm noodles. Serve with goulash and gravy with chunky applesauce on the side. |
