BARBECUED CHICKEN WINGS 
12 chicken wings
1/4 c. ketchup
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. finely chopped garlic
1 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. Hoisin sauce
2 tsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. finely chopped ginger root

Cut each chicken wing at joints to make 3 pieces. Discard tips. Mix remaining ingredients in medium bowl. Stir in chicken pieces until well coated. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour. Place chicken with marinade in ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake, uncovered, at 450 degrees for 30 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 375 degrees. Turn chicken and bake 20 minutes or until done and sauce is absorbed.
