MEMERE'S MEAT AND POT PIE 
1 1/2 lbs. stew meat
5-6 med. potatoes
3-4 carrots
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. pie crust mix
1 can mushrooms, if desired
13 x 9 x 2 inch pan

Preheat oven to 325-350 degrees. Chop meat into bite-size portions. Peel potatoes and carrots and chop into bite-size portions. Toss together in large mixing bowl. Add onion soup mix, mushroom soup and 1/2 can of water. Add small can of mushrooms, if desired.

Pour mixture into pan and set aside. Prepare pie crust according to directions, roll out and cover mixture in pan. Poke holes in crust with fork to allow steam to escape. Bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
