MEXICAN CHIP SALAD 
1 onion, chopped
4 tomatoes
1 head lettuce
4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
1 ripe avocado, cut in sm. pieces
1/4 tsp. salt
8 oz. French dressing
Hot sauce to taste
1 bag Doritos
1 lb. ground beef
1 can kidney beans (optional)

Mix together onions, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and avocado. Brown ground beef; add salt and beans; simmer 10 minutes. Add dressing, hot sauce, hamburger mixture and chips to salad. Serve immediately.
