PUMPKIN RAISIN BREAD | |
3 1/2 c. flour 3 c. sugar 2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. nutmeg 1 c. corn oil 4 eggs 2/3 c. water 2 c. pumpkin 1 c. raisins Mix together dry ingredients into a large bowl. Make a well in center of dry ingredients and add all other ingredients. Mix until smooth. Put into 3 loaf pans (4 x 7 1/2 inch) or 2 pans (9x5 inch) which are greased and floured. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour 15 minutes or until done. Cool about 10 minutes, then turn out onto rack to cool completely. |
