GREEN BEANS WITH BACON AND
MUSHROOMS
 
12 slices turkey bacon
1 c. onion, chopped (optional)
2 (4 1/2 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms, drained
3 (9 oz.) pkgs. frozen whole green beans, thawed
1 tbsp. sugar

Cook bacon in skillet or microwave until crisp; crumble and set aside. Spray skillet with Pam and-or a small amount of butter; saute onion. Add mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes. Stir in green beans and sugar. Cover and cook 10 minutes or until desired degree of doneness, stirring occasionally. Transfer beans to serving dish. Add bacon, tossing gently, and serve immediately. If onions are excluded, there is no need to saute the mushrooms.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
