EGGLESS RAISIN CAKE | |
1 c. raisins 2 c. water 1/2 c. butter 1 3/4 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg In a large saucepan boil the raisins with the water for 10 minutes, then add butter. Let cool. Add to the same pan all other ingredients (no need to sift). Mix well, bake in a greased 10 x 10 inch pan for 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Nuts may be added, very good without. |
