EGG NOG 
6 eggs, separated
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
1 c. rum (optional)
Nutmeg

Separate eggs. Add 1/2 cup sugar to egg yolks while beating. In separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff; add 1/4 cup sugar. Add ice cream to egg whites and beat. Blend in egg yolks. Add rum. Top with nutmeg.
