SCHNITZEL BEANS | |
4 lbs. canned green beans (good grade), drained 4 slices bacon 1 c. vinegar 1 sm. onion, chopped Fry chopped bacon until brown. Add sugar and vinegar to bacon. Cook until sugar is dissolved. Add green beans. Simmer about 20 minutes. Add chopped onion. This recipe is good on spinach and other vegetables. Adds a little "snap". |
