OLD STYLE POUND CAKE | |
4 c. self-rising flour 2 c. butter 3 c. sugar 10 eggs 1 tbsp. vanilla Grease and flour tube pan or 2 loaf pans. Cream softened butter. Gradually add sugar, beating constantly. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Gradually add flour. Beat well. Pour into prepared pan. Bake about 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done at 325 degrees. Cool in pan about 10 minutes. Invert on cooling rack and finish cooling. |
