1/4 c. butter
3 c. miniature marshmallows
3 c. Post Fruity Pebbles or Cocoa Pebbles cereal (when using Cocoa Pebbles, include 1/3 c. creamy peanut butter)

Melt butter and peanut butter in saucepan, stirring frequently. Add marshmallows and cereal; stir until marshmallows start to melt and stick to cereal. (Here add peanut butter if you used Cocoa Pebbles.) Remove from heat. Press mixture firmly into buttered 8" square dish. Let cool about 1 hour. Cut into squares. Store in cool place. Makes 16 squares. NOTE: If you double the recipe, use 9"x13" pan.
