BREAKFAST COOKIES 
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. shredded coconut
1/2 c. whole wheat flakes
1/2 c. quick oats
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. granulated sugar
6 tbsp. shortening
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 egg

Combine all dry ingredients. Cream shortening and sugar in separate bowl. Add egg and vanilla to sugar mixture. Add dry ingredients to form a stiff dough. Measure 1/3 cup dough for each cookie and place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten to 4 1/2 inch round. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool. Makes 6 jumbo cookies.
