TAKE-ALONG BREAKFAST COOKIES | |
3/4 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2/3 c. butter, softened 2/3 c. sugar 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 1/2 c. reg. oats, uncooked 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 c. wheat germ 6 slices bacon, cooked & crumbled Combine flour, soda and salt; mix well and set aside. Cream butter and sugar; beat in egg and vanilla. Add flour mixture, mixing well. Stir in oats, cheese, wheat germ, and bacon. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 16 minutes. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets. Yield: 2 dozen. |
