OATMEAL-CHOCOLATE SANDWICHES 
1 1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. orange flavored liqueur or orange juice
3 c. quaker oats
2 c. all-purpose flour
12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp. shortening

Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy; blend in liqueur or juice. Add combined oats and flour mixing well; refrigerate 10 minutes. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet; press into 2-inch circles. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool completely.

Combine chocolate and shortening in microwave, safe bowl. Microwave on High for 1 minute; stir until smooth. Using 2 teaspoons of chocolate makes cookie sandwiches. With remaining chocolate drizzle over the top of sandwiches.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
