MILLION DOLLAR POUND CAKE 
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 lb. (4 sticks) butter, softened
3 c. sugar
6 lg. eggs, room temperature
4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour

Combine milk, almond and vanilla extract and set aside. Cream butter and sugar at high speed until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Alternately add 1/4 flour with 1/3 milk.

Pour into tube pan and bake 1 hour and 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Bake in preheated oven at 300 degrees.
