11.5 oz. milk chocolate chips 1/3 c. whipping cream Coating of your choice: crushed peppermint candy, finely chopped nuts, finely chopped coconut, chocolate sprinkles Constantly stir chocolate chips and cream over very low heat until chips are melted and mixture is well blended. Beat with electric mixer at high speed for about 5 minutes or until mixture is fluffy. Scrape the bowl as needed. Cover and chill 2 hours or until firm. Form mixture into 36 balls (1/2 tablespoon for each). Lightly butter hands if mixture is sticky. Roll in desired coating. Place candies in papers and refrigerate. Makes 36. |
