CRANBERRY - CHERRY CRUMB PIE | |
Frozen 9 inch deep dish pie crust 2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries 1 can sweet cherries 2 3/4 tbsp. quick cooking tapioca 3/4 c. dark brown sugar, packed 2 tsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. almond extract Pinch of salt Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. If using drained, canned berries, add 1/3 cup fruit juice. Let mixture stand 5 minutes. Add crumb topping. Bake 40 minutes at 425 degrees. CRUMB TOPPING: 3/4 c. all-purpose flour 3/8 c. sugar 3/8 c. butter (butter) Combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. |
