BROCCOLI CHEESE STRATA 
12 slices Pepperidge Farm white bread for toasting
3/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, sliced
1/2 bunch broccoli, cooked and chopped
6 eggs, lightly beaten
3 1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. minced onion
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Garlic powder, pepper, and thyme

Prepare this 24 hours before serving. Cut the bread pieces in half on the diagonal. Cover the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish with half the slices in a fan pattern. Top with cheese slices, then with broccoli, then a sprinkle of garlic powder, pepper and thyme. Cover with remaining bread. Beat the eggs with the milk, mustard, and onion and pour this over the top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bring to room temperature and bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 1 hour. Serves 6.
