SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
2 lg. cans whole tomatoes
1 onion, med. finely chopped
2 c. fresh mushrooms, carosely chopped
Rosemary, sweet basil, oregano and salt and pepper to taste
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 can tomato paste
3 tbsp. olive or peanut oil
2 lbs. ground beef
3 tbsp. brown sugar
Optional: chopped red and green pepper

Brown beef and onion, and mushrooms drain and set aside. In large saucepan cook tomatoes with water from can until cooked down and begin to thicken. Stir frequently. Add spices, oil, garlic and sugar and let simmer about 1 hour. If thicker sauce is desired, add tomato paste. Combine with ground beef mixture and serve over hot spaghetti.
