2 c. water 1 c. soy sauce 1 c. cooking sherry 1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed 1/3 c. chopped green onions 24 chicken drummettes w/skin removed In skillet, combine water, soy sauce, sherry, brown sugar and green onions. Add drummettes and stir to coat. Heat to boiling and lower heat. Simmer covered for 30 minutes. Uncover and simmer for 1-15 minutes more, stirring and basting frequently. Serve warm. |
