PERFECT BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. honey (or sugar)
1 stick butter (or 1/2 c. shortening)
2/3 c. milk

Sift dry ingredients together, cut in shortening (or butter). Mix milk and honey, add to other ingredients and knead lightly. Roll or pat to 3/4 inch thickness and cut. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes a 450 degrees. Yields 8 biscuits (2 1/2 inch).
